You will be based at SORAT Insel-Hotel Regensburg and report to the Berlin based financial controller in our head quarter. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. Your profile
- Degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Flexible mindset and organize own activities
- Ability to independently set priorities, planning and deadlines
- German and good communication skills required
- Leadership skills and experience in hospitality industry are a plus
- Proactive team player
Your tasks
- Production of weekly revenue figures, resolving any imbalances
- Assist in the production of the monthly management accounts
- Processing and reconciling of prepayments and accruals
- Preparation, review and ownership of balance sheet
- Reconciliations, resolving any issues where necessary
- Reconciliation of all cash control accounts
- Assist in the year end external audit process
- Assist in the annual budgeting process for site cost lines
- Intercompany reconciliations and invoicing
- Completion of government returns such as national statistics
- Checking VAT returns for all companies within the group
- Account for retros and rebates
