Regensburg is the city with the largest number of motorway connections in Germany. With the A3 motorway Cologne/Frankfurt-Passau/Vienna and the A93 motorway Munich/Weiden-Berlin and the future A6 motorway in the direction of Pilsen-Prague, the city offers optimum north/south and east/west links. The most common access roads are described below.

The Regensburg-Pfaffenstein exit is located directly behind the tunnel for motorists coming from the north.
Via the A3
A93 motorways
- At the Regensburg motorway function, change to the A93 motorway
- Drive in the direction of Weiden/Amberg
- Exit Regensburg-Pfaffenstein (No. 39)
- Drive in the direction of Regensburg-Stadtzentrum (city centre)
- From Frankenstraße on, follow the signs to "Oberer Wöhrd" and the hotel guidance system
- At the first intersection with traffic lights, turn left into Würzburger Straße
- Then, turn right twice (Alte Nürnberger Straße/Oberpfalzbrücke)
- Cross the Oberpfalzbrücke bridge (you thereby cross the Danube canal)
- Then turn right into Pfaffensteiner Steg and cross another Danube arm
- Directly behind the bridge, turn left into Lieblstraße
- Drive along Lieblstraße to the very end - you have now reached the hotel
- The hotel is directly in front of you
- The garage entrance is signposted, and is located to the right of the hotel entrance
