Overnight accomodation charge
The city of Duisburg has obliged all hotels and pensions to raise an additional overnight accomodation charge from their guests. The amount of this charge is 5% of the pure overnight accomodation price, including the general sales tax plus value-added tax. It is included in the room rate.
