Dresden

Motorists can reach Dresden directly via the A4 and A13 motorways and the B97 federal road. Take the direct route from the airport via the Flughafen Dresden motorway access. The distance to Cottbus totals 100km.

 
 

If you are not planning to rent a car, then take Deutsche Bahn's RegionalBahn or RegionalExpress trains leaving Dresden's central railway station to continue your journey to Cottbus. Trains leave every hour and the journey takes around 2 hours. Public transport offers perfect connections from the airport by urban rail (S-Bahn), tram and regular bus service to Dresden's central railway station in the city centre.

 
 

Berlin

Berlin has two airports: Berlin-Tegel (TXL) or Berlin-Schönefeld (SXF). Flight timetable information and flight connections for both of Berlin's airports can be found at: www.berlin-airport.de

If you are not planning to rent a car, then take Deutsche Bahn's InterRegio train leaving Berlin's Ostbahnhof or Friedrichstraße stations to continue your journey to Cottbus. Trains leave every 2 hours and the journey takes 60 minutes.

• Change to underground
• Underground line U6, in the direction of Alt-Mariendorf

• Get off at Friedrichstraße station
• Go upstairs, the long distance trains leave from the station building
• Fare: EUR 2.10
