Hotel Albergo Berlin

Partner of SORAT Hotels

History

Today's Hotel Albergo was originally built between 1923 and 1928 as a Russian Orthodox cathedral. In 1938, the Russian Orthodox community moved to different premises at Hohenzollerndamm 166 where between 1938 and 1938 the Resurrection Cathedral was built and still stands today. In 1938, the old building was taken over and converted by DAF, the German Work Front. The post-war era saw the first hotel open there, Domhotel.

In 1998, work began on refurbishing the building for Hotel Albergo Berlin and Die 12 Apostel restaurant (now the Santini restaurant) and was completed in 2000.

The Albergo has been under new management since October 2005 and is on its way towards becoming even more beautiful, more luxurious and more
attractive than ever before.
