The SORAT loyalty program and the SORAT bonus card is issued by the SORAT Hotel Verwaltungs GmbH, Bayreuther Straße 42, DE 10787 Berlin, Germany.
Natural persons over 18 years of age are entitled to participate in the SORAT loyalty program.
The registration may be completed in writing via the flyer directly at the hotel or using the online registration form. The participant receives a SORAT bonus plastic card for a one-off token fee of 5.00 Euro including VAT on request. The registration for membership is free of charge without a plastic card.
Both contracting parties can give notice of termination of participation in the SORAT loyalty program at any time. Notice of termination must be given in writing in order to be valid. If the member terminates his or her participation in the SORAT loyalty program, they will be entitled to an award voucher amounting to the sum of bonus points collected up to that time, assuming that the number of points entitles the holder to an award. The award voucher must be traded in within 36 months. The card remains at all times the property of SORAT Hotels and as an cardholder the card must return it immediately upon request by SORAT.
The membership is informally transferable on close family members aged 18 years living in the same household. Bonus points cannot be transferred to other SORAT bonus members.
SORAT loyalty program benefits are provided by booking with SORAT directly by phone or online via sorat-hotels.com as set out in the price list. Bookings via travel agents and agencies, hotel intermediaries, internet booking platforms and review sites can be assigned as well, if the hotel invoice is beeing paid at the property. The 10% discount of the daily best available room rate is valid only upon booking through our website. The discount is not valid for breakfast, not combinable with other rates, discounts or promotions.
The member of the loyalty program must refer to his or her SORAT loyalty program membership when making the reservation or at the latest on arrival. The member receives bonus points for every Euro he or she spends on the entire turnover at any SORAT hotel or SORAT partner hotel.
The bonus member can apply to SORAT Hotels for the desired award by phone or in writing and will then receive a voucher for the desired award. The corresponding number of points will be deducted from the account of the member. The SORAT Hotels shall not be held liable for service disruptions, personal injury or damage to property arising in relation to third-party services for which SORAT Hotels is merely the brokering agent (e.g. UCI Kinowelt). The practical arrangements on awards organized by partner companies are subject to their respective General Terms and Conditions.
Bonus points remain valid for 36 months after purchase of the respective service at a SORAT hotel or partner hotel. If they are not traded in for awards within this period, they will lapse without replacement.
Once a quarter the SORAT loyalty program member shall receive a statement of account and information on the number of points collected without request. Any objections must be raised in writing within four weeks after receipt of this information and made credible by enclosing the hotel invoice.
The SORAT Hotels reserves the right to change the terms of participation, the method of calculating the bonus points, and the awards offered at any time. Changes in these terms of participation may become necessary for legal reasons. In the event that SORAT is obliged to make such changes, this shall not justify any claim for damages by the participant. SORAT Hotels reserves the right to end the SORAT loyalty program or to replace it by a different programme at any time. The bonus points collected up to that time will lapse six months after the participant is informed of the ending of the programme (date as postmark). Any changes within the SORAT loyalty program shall not justify any claim for damages by the participant. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Place of jurisdiction for any disputes which cannot be amicably settled is Berlin.
Each member is responsible for complying travel policies by his employer and to meet current taxation when using the SORAT loyalty program.
The SORAT Hotels shall only be liable for damage or injury to participants in connection with their participation in the SORAT loyalty program if such damage is caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
